Abstract
The first half of this manuscript describes, 1) teachers who are teaching moral education at primary and secondary school, 2) reading materials, and 3) the evaluation based on the regulation of Ministry's curriculum guideline in 2008. The second half describes ''the subject of moral education'' from the perspectives such as, 1) the reason of encouraging moral education as an official subject, 2) teachers, and 3) teaching materials and methodology.I consider what we are able to learn from Japanese-style moral education at the final part.
