The life style, skill, ideology and religion of Mongolians signify special feature of nomadic civilization. The chronology of their cultural and religious aspects divided by the following three historical periods: the shamanism and tengerism was influential among Mongolians in the ancient and early medieval period, the Buddhism was popular in the medieval period and late medieval period.
Buddhism , Christianity, Islam, shamanism and the new religious movements spread among the native Mongolian speakers in the modern globalization era.
We proposed the necessity to study the change and reformation of culture and religion of Mongolians in this paper. The culture and religion is the key factor for preserving and protecting environment, developing cultural integrity , developing some economic field in the area.
