The aim of this article is to express theoretical position that bears down valuation of religion in Mongolia that grounded on monist methodology before 1990. We believe that implementation of this aim would be exchange of opinion with people those who are working on same field. In the beginning part of this article, we considered conceptual background and social situation of negative valuation of religion in Mongolia during the socialist time.
In Mongolia since 1990, democratic reform has been challenged in all sphere of life in Mongolia. In this case, we consider that theoretical research that reveals new approaches and phenomena in the work of researchers who study religion in point of view of philosophy. For example, methodology of defining concept of religion, transcendental power, understanding of religion as opium Marx said and use of agnosticism.
