Abstract
Is there a connection between linguistics and philosophy? If there is a connection, how is it discovered? Linguistics work to philosophers and philosopher's idea's to linguistics, how do they benefit each other? The classic answer to this question is N.Chomsky's works. In standard theory of generative grammar N.Chomsky explained that deep structure representing sentence's meaning whereas surface structure representing its phonetic from or physical aspect. It means surface structure is ''actual'' pragmatic form of sentence.
Deep structure has more abstract features and it is innate to language user's mind /brain. In a deep structure word can obtain its role as a subject, object, and verb. From these explanations we can say that deep structure is similar to proposition. Because every proposition has to be sentence but can't be vice versa. Thus we seek a possibility about whether deep structure is a logical form.
