Abstract
Man is a thinking being. The human thought is the subject of philosophical and psychological research. Man's thought, both in ontogenetical and philogenetical sense of transmitted to the stages of magic, mythic, cosmic, metaphysical, theological, humanical, educational, scientific and political. In the further course of the development it moves to godlike, divine or esoteric stage. The ontogeny and phylogeny of thought are, in an ontological sense, compatibile with each other. Discussing about the meaning and significance of the study of the history of human thought, we can use the expression ''back to the future''.
